Some good news for Andreas Obst: The captain of the Bayern Basketball team did not suffer a serious injury in a bad fall in the second playoff quarterfinal against BG Goettingen (87-85).
Andi Obst, Bayern's captain in the playoffs due to Vladimir Lucic's injury, slipped on the floor with his right foot midway through the third quarter, severely overstretched his knee and could no longer play in Game 2. The 26-year-old guard did not practice on Friday but will make the trip to Goettingen on Saturday. Whether he can be used there in Game 3 on Sunday (3 15:00./MagentaSport) will be a game time decision.

The arena in Goettingen is sold out with just under 3,500 spectators.
