The new season begins for the Bayern Basketball team with a home rivalry game: Coach Andrea Trinchieri's team will welcome southern rival Ulm to the Audi Dome for its Bundesliga opener on Saturday, October 1, with the game tipping off at 18:00. The FCBB opened last season against Ulm, losing narrowly in overtime (86-83) during the first of ultimately three Corona waves in the team forcing a short bench.
11 Games in October
Just two days later comes the traditionally difficult away game in Frankfurt (Monday, Oct. 3). After the EuroLeague opener against Fenerbahce Istanbul (Thursday, Oct. 6, 20:30), Bayern will again host their playoff opponent from the 2022 quarterfinals, the Niners from Chemnitz, just three days later for the third BBL gameday. In general, October is a busy month for the Munich team, with a total of eleven must-win games, including the cup clash in Bamberg.
In the schedule published by the easyCredit BBL last Friday, the home game against defending champion Berlin is scheduled for Sunday, January 8, and the BBL game at the Audi Dome against Bamberg for April 16. The regular season ends for FCBB with a home game against Heidelberg (May 4) and the away game in Oldenburg (May 7).
Watch ten games, pay for only nine
Day tickets for the BBL and also for the new EuroLeague season with its numerous top games will go on sale in about a week's time. But Bayern fans can already secure their seats, because as of now - in addition to the available season tickets - the popular 5 and 10 ticket bundles are also available: With the short subscriptions and the now fixed game schedules for both competitions, you can already put together your individual Audi Dome plan before the official day tickets go on sale and, of course, also select all the highlights. The 10-ticket has another advantage: See ten games, but only pay for nine!
In any case, it pays to be quick in view of the crazy October: After the EuroLeague premiere at home against Fener, the Turkish title holders of 2017, the second home game in the top division is also a good one: On Tuesday, October 18, FC Barcelona will come to the Audi Dome - before the visit of Armani Milan just two days later (October 20) will complete the first Double Week of the EuroLeague in spectacular fashion.
