The Bayern Basketball team's preparation program is taking shape: After the obligatory medical checks, head coach Andrea Trinchieri will welcome his team to the start of training in Munich on August 27. The core of the pre-season preparations will again be the traditional training camp as a guest of "Bruneck Kronplatz Tourismus", the exclusive FCBB vacation region in the Alpine region. From August 31 to September 4, the team will work intensively towards the 2022/2023 season in the northern Italian community of Pustertal.

The first two official test games will take place in Bruneck: on September 1 against the Italian first division team Reggio Emilia, which also competes in the European Cup (Fiba Champions League), and finally on September 4 against the EuroCup team Dolomiti Energia Trento with former FCBB guard Diego Flaccadori.
Another test in Munich against last year's playoff quarterfinal opponent Niners Chemnitz (Sept. 10) and participation in the tournament in Teramo, Italy (Sept. 24/25) with Serie A teams Verona and Pesaro as well as AEK Athens from Greece. In Spain, the Munich team will face EuroLeague rival Valencia and ACB relegated Andorra.

Bayern Basketball's season is scheduled to begin on October 1 with a BBL home game, while the EuroLeague opener is on October 6 at the Audi Dome against Turkish champion Fenerbahce Istanbul.
