There are still about three and a half months until the Grand Opening of the SAP Garden – now the premiere of FC Bayern Basketball in the new Munich super arena is also set: The reigning cup champion, currently fighting for the second title to win the double in the BBL finals, will debut on Thursday, October 3, with its first home game of the upcoming 2024/2025 EuroLeague season at the SAP Garden.
“Early Bird” pre-registration from July 1 via the website
For this absolute highlight in the premier class of European basketball, the Bayern basketball team will present an attractive supporting program including a renowned show act. Ticket sales for this highly anticipated event will start in mid-July, with further details to follow regarding the opponent and the show program.

Given the expected demand, fans can already secure a spot in the digital queue and register for the pre-sale: Registration for the “Early Bird Ticket Access” will open on July 1 at 12 PM, with sign-ups available on the Bayern basketball team's website.
All individuals registered for the “Early Bird Ticket Access” will receive an exclusive head start on the day of the official single-ticket pre-sale, allowing them to purchase up to two tickets per person. EuroLeague or All In season ticket holders, currently available at a discounted price, are guaranteed a spot at the Grand Opening. So far, around 3,000 season tickets have already been sold.
High-tech arena for 11,500 spectators
Starting next season, the SAP Garden will be the second venue for FC Bayern Basketball alongside the BMW Park. It offers a capacity of 11,500 spectators. FCBB will host around 20 home games in the new high-tech arena, located in Munich's Olympiapark. The grand opening of the SAP Garden will be kicked off by the EHC Red Bull Munich as the primary tenant at the end of September.
