As the organizer, Telekom delivers the perfect introduction to the start of the BBL (FCBB on September 29 against MBC) and the beginning of the 2023/2024 EuroLeague season shortly after the World Cup (August 25 - September 10, all 92 games live and for free on MagentaSport). The Bayern team will have their home premiere against Alba Berlin on October 5, 8:30 PM – at the "MagentaSport Cup 2023," a direct matchup with the German rival is possible as an exciting dress rehearsal on the second day of the cup.

FCBB will play the second semifinal against the 16-time Italian champion, Virtus, led by Spain's successful coach Sergio Scariolo and top-forward Tornike Shengalia on Saturday at 8:00 PM. The opening match will see Berlin facing Red Star at 5:00 PM.

Belgrade, having significantly strengthened their team, showcases notable additions, including playmaker Milos Teodosic (from Bologna), Adam Hanga (Real Madrid), Mike Tobey (FC Barcelona), Rokas Giedraitis (Baskonia), Joel Bolomboy (Olympiakos), Shabazz Napier (Mailand), and most recently Ulm's championship MVP, Yago dos Santos.
