Austin Wiley, born January 8, 1999 in Birmingham, Alabama, is a physically dominant 2.08 m center who has made a name for himself in Europe as an elite rebounder and rim protector. After three seasons with the Auburn Tigers in the NCAA, he began his professional career in Germany before rising to prominence through stops in Lithuania, Turkey and with Hapoel Jerusalem. In Lithuania, the Turkish BSL, the Fiba Champions League and the EuroCup, he often led the competition in rebounding and was even named league MVP in Turkey. With his relentless motor, physical presence and shot-blocking instincts, Wiley embodies the modern center who can shape a game on both ends of the floor.
