Short Biography

Johannes Voigtmann moved from top Italian club Olimpia Milano to FC Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024, signing a three-year contract. The 2.11 metre tall big man has plenty of international experience, having also played for CSKA Moscow and Baskonia in the EuroLeague.

Voigtmann celebrated winning the World Cup with the German national team in 2023 and won the bronze medal at the European Championship in 2022. Born in Eisenach, he is the father of two children and is married to a woman from Munich.
