The situation for FC Bayern
FCB already secured the Meisterschale last weekend. For the men from Munich it's the ninth Bundesliga title in a row, an unprecedented run of success! In the two games still to come though, Bayern will continue chasing records. Robert Lewandowski is leading the way, having scored his 37th, 38th and 39th goals of the season in the 6-0 thrashing of Gladbach. The striker is just one goal short of equalling Gerd Müller's record from the 1971/72 season, and, as well as that, Bayern can still achieve the 80-point mark with two wins. Since Wednesday, the Reds have been in their quarantine training camp, which the DFL made compulsory for all teams for the last two Bundesliga matchdays. There, the Bavarians have been preparing intensively for the clash at Freiburg.
In 17 games against SC Freiburg, Robert Lewandowski has scored 18 goals - if he scores again on Saturday, the striker will crack Gerd Müller's record:
The opponents: SC Freiburg
SC Freiburg are still battling to qualify for a European spot and are currently sitting in ninth place. They're two points off seventh place, which would get them into the play-offs for the newly-created UEFA Europa Conference League. Last weekend saw them winning 4-1 in emphatic style at 1. FC Köln. What's more, in the last three years, SCF have always won their last home game of the season - a run that FC Bayern now intend to end.

Team news for Freiburg vs. Bayern
Lewandowski, who took things a bit easier on Thursday due to load management training, "has completed final training and is available," Flick said in his press conference on Friday. Bayern will be without the long-term injured Douglas Costa (hairline fracture in his metatarsal) as well as Leon Goretzka (thigh muscle strain) and Tanguy Nianzou (red-card suspension). Meanwhile, there's positive news about Corentin Tolisso: "He's in the squad," said Flick. The FCB head coach also announced that Alexander Nübel will be in goal on Saturday.
What the coaches say
Hansi Flick: "We can still get 80 points, that's one goal. Lewy's 40 goals is the second. If we were to accomplish both, that would be an outstanding feat. To do that, we have to put in two more top performances. The crucial thing is that the players implement what we set out to do in the game. That worked against Gladbach. When the team is successful, Lewy also benefits and is successful."
Christian Streich (SC Freiburg head coach): "Against Bayern Munich, the players are motivated per se. A game against Bayern is always something special. They've been the best team in Germany for decades and they're also in outstanding form again at the moment. I don't have any concerns about motivation. We have to be ready to really toil, to really put in the legwork, to burst a gut."
