FC Bayern are unbeaten in ten Bundesliga meetings with Eintracht Frankfurt. The last defeat dates back to March 2010, a 2-1 reverse in Frankfurt. Bayern have won eight and drawn two matches since then. Sebastian Rode scored the last goal for Eintracht five and a half years ago in a 1-1 stalemate in April 2011. The men from Munich have not conceded a goal in 757 minutes against Eintracht.
Eintracht's home strength
The men from Hesse boast an impressive home record with Niko Kovac on the bench. Eintracht have won five of their seven home matches since Kovac took charge, losing one and drawing one. Frankfurt have gone five matches without defeat on their home field.
Bayern's impressive away record
The Bavarians have won all of their last six away matches and are unbeaten in 12 matches on the road, winning ten and drawing two. The last away defeat dates back to December 2015, a 3-1 reverse in Mönchengladbach.
Dankert in charge
Bastian Dankert will be the man with the whistle for Saturday's clash. The 36-year-old sports scientist from Rostock takes charge of his tenth Bundesliga fixture involving the Reds, and the German record champions have yet to lose with him on the pitch. Bayern have won all three away games overseen by Dankert, most recently a 3-1 victory over Stuttgart in April. His assistants will be René Rohde and Jan Seidel, with Guido Winkmann acting as fourth official.
