FC Bayern contest their first friendly match of preseason on Saturday - and there’ll be a whole new look to the German record champions. That’s less to do with coach Niko Kovac or summer newcomer Serge Gnabry on this occasion, and more with FCB's new away jersey. The shirt, officially unveiled and launched on Thursday, makes its debut in the International Champions Cup match against French double winners Paris Saint-Germain.
The mint-green shirt with lilac stripes affords the club, so rich in tradition, a modern streetwear look. With its enhanced performance silhouette, the jersey combines functionality with style: an elegant polo neck and stitched armbands on the sleeves round off a very special look in pastel tones, perfectly at home in the stadium and on the street.
The new jersey is available exclusively in all FC Bayern Fan Shops and adidas stores from 19 to 25 July, and will be stocked by all other retailers from 26 July. Fans can look forward to a number of attractive promotions accompanying the start of sales.
