Strong run against Schalke

Schalke have lost more matches and conceded more goals against FC Bayern than against any other team. Dream start v bad start

Bayern got off to a perfect start to the Bundesliga campaign under Niko Kovac. They won all of their first three matches, achieving this feat for the third time in four years. The situation at Schalke could not be more different. The Royal Blues have yet to take points in the Bundesliga. Historic match for Schalke

Saturday's encounter will be a milestone match for Schalke. They will contest their 1,700th Bundesliga match and their 850th home match in the club's history. The meeting will be FC Bayern's 1,810th Bundesliga match. Only Hamburger SV on 1,866 and Werder Bremen on 1,835 have contested more matches in Germany's top flight.
