A repeat of the 2018 final! Bayern will host Eintracht Frankfurt on 21 or 22 April at the Allianz Arena in the semi-finals of the DFB Cup. This was the outcome of the draw on Sunday evening. Reaction to the cup draw
Hasan Salihamidžić: "Frankfurt are opponents who have given great performances in the cup in the last few years. We know what to expect, but in front of our own fans we definitely want to take the chance to make it to the final.“
Hansi Flick: "We're happy we have a home game. We've had a lot of away games recently so we're delighted with that. Frankfurt are a very experienced team, especially in the cup. They are top quality and play with lots of passion, so it'll be a big fight. We want to make the final, so we will have to defeat Frankfurt."
Thomas Müller: "It's brilliant that we're playing in front of our own fans! Frankfurt have written great cup history with us in the last few years. But we definitely want to make sure of the trip to Berlin."
Serge Gnabry: "It will be another special game. We have to give everything against Eintracht and push ourselves to the limit to take the chance of reaching the final. Berlin always has a great atmosphere at the cup final - we absolutely want to be part of that."
