After the 8-2 quarter-final win against Barcelona, FC Bayern's "Mission Red" moves onto the next challenge ahead of them: the match against Olympique Lyon on Wednesday evening. To reach the final of the Champions League, the FC Bayern family must once again say: “Together we can do great things!” Despite the coronavirus imposed separation between fans and the club, the fans are able to show that they are close to the team wherever they are: “Let's go, Reds!”
Captain Manuel Neuer said: "The team was enormously motivated by the many videos and photos that were received through the club’s digital media channels. Let's continue in the same way on our 'Mission Red' - together we can achieve great things! We the players will give everything in Lisbon for you, for the club and for our dream - and we know that our hearts will be with you all at home as well. Our 'Mission Red' continues: "Despite the great distance between us, we'll keep on playing until we have reached our common goal.”

As we did against Barcelona, the club HQ on Säbener Straße, the Allianz Arena and the "FC Bayern Welt" façade in Munich's city centre will all be lit up in red for the semi-final. The FC Bayern Campus and the Audi Dome will also now be added to the celebrations on the day of the match. "Mission Red" even reaches as far as China; in Shanghai the Sinar Mas Tower will light up the night sky in FCB colours.
