When pure passion is combined with special skill – then you have the FC Bayern Goal of the Month for September. Joshua Kimmich secured victory with his goal against Borussia Dortmund in the Supercup. After sprinting half the length of the pitch, the 25-year-old combined with Robert Lewandowski to make it 3-2. After his first attempt was blocked, the Bayern midfield dynamo managed to get the ball over the line as he fell – pure determination!
FC Bayern fans have now voted Kimmich’s stroke of genius as the Goal of the Month for September. In second place, the impressive goal scored by Thomas Müller in the 8-0 opening win against Schalke with a wonderful Rabona assist from Lewandowski. Third place goes to Sarah Zadrazil’s powerful long-range effort for the fifth goal in the Bundesliga clash with SC Sand (6-0).
