FC Bayern started the new Champions League season with a brilliant 4-0 win over Atlético Madrid. One of the four goals stood out in particular: Corentin Tolisso's powerful long-range shot for a 3-0 lead. After a blocked free kick by Joshua Kimmich, the ball landed at the feet of the French world champion, who fired it into the top right corner from 25 metres. It was Tolisso's seventh goal in 19 UCL games for Bayern, plus five assists - a very strong quota for a midfielder.
FC Bayern fans have chosen Tolisso's spectacular goal as their goal of the month for October. Joshua Kimmich's shot for a 2-1 win at Lokomotiv Moscow followed in second place. Third place went to Leroy Sané, who found the corner with a fine flick to make it 4-0 against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Successful title defence: Joshua Kimmich repeated his success from the previous month and was named Player of the Month again in October.
