The Bavarians have lifted the DFB Cup 20 times, which makes them the most successful team in that competition by far, with their closest pursuers being Werder Bremen on six triumphs. FCB won their 13th domestic double in 2020. No other German team boasts more than one double. Schalke did it in 1937, 1. FC Köln in 1978, Bremen in 2004 and Borussia Dortmund in 2012.
