Zirkzee out on loan to Italian club Parma

Joshua Zirkzee (19) has been loaned by FC Bayern to Italian top flight club Parma Calcio until the end of the season. The Dutch junior international has so far played 17 times for the German record champions' first team, scoring four goals. For the FC Bayern II reserve team, he made 32 appearances and scored 6 goals.

Board member for sport Hasan Salihamidžić: "Joshua has take a giant stride thanks to the way he's come on with us. He was part of the team that won the Champions League in Lisbon. It's now important for him to get more playing time at a first division level. We're convinced he can help Parma further."

Zirkzee joined FC Bayern in the summer of 2017 from Rotterdam giants Feyenoord. The 19-year-old initially developed in the FC Bayern youth section before making his professional debut in December 2019. Parma Calcio have an option to buy.
