The training group at FC Bayern is getting bigger! On Monday, the majority of the EURO 2020 players returned to Säbener Straße. Robert Lewandowski, Leon Goretzka and Co. completed the obligatory performance diagnostics prior to starting pre-season training.
Under the direction of Prof Dr Holger Broich (Scientific Director & Head of Fitness), the internationals underwent various tests where their reaction times, leaping ability and stamina, among other things, were all evaluated.

Thomas Müller completes running session
Thomas Müller also returned to Säbener Straße on Monday. The 32-year-old forward completed a running session at the record champion's training ground. Meanwhile, the players who featured in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Ajax in the Audi Football Summit worked on the pitch under the watchful eye of head coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Two friendlies before the first competitive match
The next friendly is against Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday (18:00 CEST). The final warm-up game before the first competitive match, the DFB Cup tie at Bremer SV, will be the Audi Football Summit against Napoli on Saturday (16:30 CEST). Tickets are still available for both friendlies.
