Bayern really enjoyed themselves in the 12-0 cup win against Bremer SV a few weeks ago – and one player in particular. Jamal Musiala constantly weaved his way through the opposition defence, bagged two goals himself, had chances to score more and created opportunities for his teammates. It wasn't the 18-year-old's only dazzling display in August, which is why fans of the German record champions have voted him as their Player of the Month.
Great goals and fine dribbling
When Jamal Musiala has the ball at his feet, it spells trouble for the opponents.
The young Germany international received exactly half of the votes, putting him clearly in front ahead of top goalscorer Robert Lewandowski (28%) and third-placed Thomas Müller (5%). It's the second Player of the Month gong that Musiala has picked up after April 2021. The attacker registered three goals and one assist in five matches in all competitions in August, thrilling fans and teammates with his quick, mazy dribbling. Whenever he's on the pitch, it's clear that Musiala is a fun footballer.
