The latest group stage triumph in the Champions League is in the bag! Or in the words of Bayern captain Manuel Neuer: "Mission accomplished!" Robert Lewandowski, who leads the goalscoring charts with nine goals, and a first of the season in the UCL for Kingsley Coman, ensured a 2-1 away victory in snowy conditions in Kyiv. No.1 in Group E
For the fourth year in a row, FCB have finished top of their group and for the 12th time in the last 14 years too - what a record! It is the 18th time that Bayern have won a UCL group, with only FC Barcelona (21 times) having done so more often. Nagelsmann's side will play their final UCL group-stage match, and their final Champions League game of 2021, against the Catalans on 8 December.
90 goals in 27 games
Bayern's run of form is red-hot: the Bundesliga leaders have scored in each of their last 27 UEFA Champions League matches, netting a total of 90 goals! It's the longest goal scoring streak ever in the competition. The last time the men from Munich side drew a blank was in February 2019, in a goalless draw away at Liverpool.
15 points from 5 games
FC Bayern have picked up maximum points from their first five games in the UCL for the third time, having previously done so in 2013/14 (eventually losing in the semi-finals) and 2019/20 (eventual winners). This season, Julian Nagelsmann's men have scored 19 times in five games.
FCB quick off the blocks
FC Bayern have scored seven first-half goals in five games this season - more than any other team. In addition, FCB have kept a first-half clean sheet in four of the five games - only defending champions Chelsea have done so in more games (all five).
Neuer, Coman, Tillman
Manuel Neuer played his 124th CL game, equalling Gianluigi Buffon - the only goalkeeper to have played more games in the Champions League than the pair is Iker Casillas (177). Coman, who has scored three times in his last six competitive games, scored his first goal of the UCL season. 19-year-old Malik Tillman also made his Champions League debut - Congratulations, Malik!
