Bouna Sarr was celebrating progression to the final of the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal on Wednesday after a 3-1 win over Burkina Faso. The 30-year-old Bayern defender played the full 90 minutes of the semi-final in Yaounde. After a goalless first half, Abdou Diallo (70') and Idrissa Gueye (76') put the Lions of Teranga 2-0 up. Ibrahim Blati Toure (82') got one back to set up a tense finish, but Sadio Mane ensured Senegal were through with three minutes to go.

The final is on Sunday at the Stade Paul Biya in Olembe. Senegal will face the winner of the other semi-final between Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's Cameroon and Egypt. That game is at 8pm CET on Thursday.
