Musiala back at Säbener Straße

Jamal Musiala has completed his self-isolation following a positive coronavirus test. The 18-year-old Bayern attacker returned to Säbener Straße on Friday. “The test to end his isolation was negative, which means he can be released. He still has to undergo an examination today to check that everything is alright,” revealed coach Julian Nagelsmann in Friday’s press conference ahead of the Bundesliga match at home to Greuther Fürth. “If the examinations go well, we’ll weigh up whether he can be involved on Sunday,” added Nagelsmann. Musiala already managed to complete an individual running session at the German record champions’ training ground on Friday afternoon.

Gnabry and Coman miss training

As well as Musiala, Leon Goretzka (knee), Manuel Neuer (knee surgery) and Alphonso Davies (symptoms of myocarditis), Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman were also absent from the group session on Friday. “Serge has a bit of a knock, his muscle has reacted. He stayed inside today. King received a whack to his calf, he’s still a slight doubt for Sunday. We’ll have to wait and see,” explained Nagelsmann.
