Alphonso Davies completed parts of team training for the first time again in Tuesday morning's open session at Säbener Straße. The Canadian joined in with various exercises for around 45 minutes before continuing with individual training. "It was very good," said a visibly happy 'Phonzie' after training. The 21-year-old has been out since the beginning of the year due to symptoms of myocarditis. The left-back's last appearance came on 17 December 2021 in the 4-0 win against VfL Wolfsburg, and now he's taken an important step on the comeback trail during the international break.
