Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus Seattle Seahawks will be the first regular season game in the history of the National Football League (NFL) to be played in Germany! On 13 November at 15:30 CET, the matchup between the team of star quarterback Tom Brady and the Seahawks will take place at Munich's Allianz Arena. FC Bayern's home stadium has been chosen as the venue for two of the four International Series matches that will be played in Germany over the next four years, with the other two taking place in Frankfurt.

Andreas Jung, FC Bayern board member for marketing: "We are delighted to be able to host this exciting match between the Buccaneers and the Seahawks at the Allianz Arena. This is the next step in our long-term partnership with the NFL - and we look forward to welcoming American football fans to our state-of-the-art arena."

Draft picks from Munich

Last Saturday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (in a live broadcast from the Allianz Arena) and the Kansas City Chiefs, with whom FC Bayern has been in a partnership exchange for several years, each announced a pick in the NFL Draft from Munich. A total of 262 young players are selected over seven rounds by the 32 NFL teams. The Buccaneers transferred tight end Cade Otton from the University of Washington at 106th place, while the Chiefs selected defensive back Joshua Williams from Fayetteville State University at 135th.
