FC Bayern have had to wait two years for this: we can finally celebrate with you again! Next Sunday, 15 May, on the invitation of the city of Munich, an official reception for the champions will take place in the town hall, followed by the party with the fans on Marienplatz. Due to the pandemic, it has not been possible to celebrate the end of the season with the fans in the last two years. We’re all the more looking forward to a red and white sea of flags in the heart of Munich city centre again.
Oliver Kahn, CEO: "It was great to finally celebrate the title with our fans at the Allianz Arena again. That's what we've all been missing during the pandemic. Now we return to Marienplatz. Ten league titles in a row is historic - and this run is for our fans. We look forward to celebrating with you in the heart of Munich."
Build-up on Marienplatz from 12:30
The build-up with musical accompaniment and preliminary reporting starts at 12:30 CEST on Sunday on Marienplatz. At around 13:00 CEST, the team will set off from Säbener Straße in the team bus to the city centre. After arriving at the town hall, the first thing on the agenda is a reception hosted by Munich's Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter. Then, from around 13:55, Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller and Co. will go out onto the balcony and the party can begin! In addition to the celebrations with the Bundesliga trophy and interviews, one or two other surprises await! So come to Marienplatz and celebrate the historic tenth German title in a row with our boys.
