A contract extension, one goal and one assist - it was a pretty good May for Thomas Müller! That's also been recognised by the fans, who have voted the 32-year-old attacker as their Player of the Month. It's Müller's third award of the season having come out on top in December 2021 and January 2022.

Müller scored his eighth goal of the season in the home match against Stuttgart.
Müller received 27.4 percent of the votes cast, finishing ahead of Jamal Musiala (19.5%) and Robert Lewandowski (14.4%). The Bayern number 25 was directly involved in a goal in both of the team's fixtures in May, scoring a fine goal to make it 2-1 in the last home match of the season against Stuttgart and then setting up Lewandowski at Wolfsburg on the final day. The Bavarian also delighted fans off the pitch by extending his contract until 2024 at the start of the month.
