As FC Bayern's year of competitive matches slowly came to an end, one whirlwind of a player really turned up the heat again: In November, Jamal Musiala thrilled the fans of the German record champions once again and secured the award for FC Bayern Player of the Month one more time. The 19-year-old received almost 50 per cent of the vote (49.6%), ahead of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (34.9%) and Serge Gnabry (5.8%). It's already the fourth time Musialy has won the award this season - the only time he didn't get it was in October, when Choupo-Moting managed to edge the fleet-footed sensation into second place.
Youngest player to make 100 competitive appearances for Bayern
The statistics once again spoke clearly in favour of the Germany international: In four competitive games last month, Musiala was directly involved in four goals (two goals, two assists). In the last match of the year at Schalke (2-0), the artistic dribbler made his 100th competitive appearance for Bayern - and that at the tender age of just 19 years and 259 days. No other player ever managed to reach this milestone in professional football at such a young age for the German record champions. And anyone who has watched the youngster play can hardly wait for match number 101 in January.
