FC Bayern Esports were only able to add a point to their total on Matchday 2 of the eFootball Championship Pro as Matthias Luttenberger’s team of Jose Carlos Sanchez, Miguel Mestre and Joao Victor Ferreira Lopes were beaten by Barcelona.
Lopes was covering for Mücahit Sevimli this matchday and went first against two-time world champion Ettore ‘Ettorito’ Giannuzzi. Despite a decent performance, the 18-year-old Brazilian was beaten 1-0 on his debut. The second game between Sanchez and Saul Adrian ‘The Palma’ Chavez Saucedo ended goalless after 90 minutes. Bayern were again beaten by a single goal in the third and final game as ex-FCB man Alejandro Alguacil edged Mestre. After kicking off the season with a seven-point haul against Monaco, Bayern now have eight points and six sixth in the table.
