Match-winner, title-decider – or just Musiala magic! With impressive performances and a historic goal, Jamal Musiala earned the accolade of FC Bayern Player of the Month in May. The youngster received a whopping 71 percent of the votes, well ahead of Serge Gnabry (9%) and Thomas Müller (5%).

Musiala's winning goal in Bayern's 2-1 victory at Köln sparked wild celebrations.
As well as an assist in the 6-0 win at home to Schalke 04, the attacker registered one goal last month. But it was probably the most important goal of the 20-year-old's young career to date. On a dramatic final day of the Bundesliga season, Musiala clinched the title for the Munich men with his late strike in the 2-1 win at Köln – which was also crowned the FC Bayern Goal of the Month. His 12th goal of the campaign was the final act of an impressive season for the Germany international, who netted one more goal in 2022/23 alone than in his previous 57 Bundesliga games put together.
Five awards in one season
After July, August, September and November, it's the fifth time that Musiala came out on top in the monthly fans vote last term – more than anyone else. Here's to more in 2023/24, Jamal!
