FC Bayern Munich and Global66, a Chilean based financial services platform, have today announced a partnership between the 33-time German champions and the South American financial solutions company.
“We are pleased to announce with Global66 our first South American partnership and the second in Latin America,” commented FC Bayern Executive Board Member, Andreas Jung. “Together we want to offer young people in the region the opportunity to develop. With this partnership, FC Bayern continues its growth in the Americas on and off the pitch.”
The multiyear agreement will see Global66 and FC Bayern come together to plan and execute initiatives that benefit Latin Americans. These include projects with promising young soccer players and provide them the opportunity to travel to Munich to showcase their talents.
“FC Bayern is a truly global club with over 107M fans in South America,” said Tomás Bercovich, CEO and co-founder of Global66. “This partnership with a team of this incredible stature is important to us because we share values, beliefs and impact. In addition, it has been wonderful to have the opportunity to offer unique experiences to our users.”
“Global66 is a successful young company with huge ambition,” commented FC Bayern’s Managing Director - Americas, Dee Kundra. “We are always searching for the right partners who share our passion in bringing the club closer to fans no matter how far away from Munich they live,” she added.
