For FC Bayern fans, the club and partner adidas have once again created a new version of the popular special edition Oktoberfest jersey in time for the world's largest folk festival in 2023.
This season will see Thomas Müller, Harry Kane, Alphonso Davies and their teammates play in green jerseys for Oktoberfest, which, like the Champions League kit, feature a sketched mountain flower pattern and the club emblem from the founding charter on the chest. The fresh colour is reminiscent of the term ‘Wiesn’, which translates as ‘field’ and is how the Oktoberfest is affectionately known. On the inside at the back of the neck is an edelweiss flower and small lettering ‘Wiesn 2023’. The name and number on the back are off-white.
Thomas Tuchel's team will wear the Oktoberfest jersey for the first time in the home match against Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena on Friday. The women will also debut the design for their opening league game away at Freiburg on the same day.
