
FC Bayern CEO Jan Christian Dreesen was today appointed to the new 12-person Executive Committee of the European Club Association (ECA). The new ECA Board met today for the first time in Warsaw, Poland, for the 2023-2027 membership cycle. Dreesen had already been named Vice Chair at the General Assembly in Budapest earlier this month.
Jan-Christian Dreesen: "I'm pleased about the appointment to the newly created ECA Executive Committee. This committee will enable a more streamlined and flexible decision-making process. A strong presence in the European Club Association is important - not just for FC Bayern but for German football as a whole."
The ECA Executive Committee approved today for the 2023-27 membership cycle is composed of:
