Bayern’s first Player of the Month for the 2023/24 season is Leroy Sane, whose impressive displays throughout August saw him finish well ahead of the competition to win the award. The 27-year-old received 53 percent of votes from fans. Harry Kane followed in second (20 percent), with Mathys Tel (16 percent) next.
Strong start to the season
Leroy Sane has scored three goals for Bayern over the first four matchdays.
The Germany international has been in fine form to kick off the new campaign. After a strong pre-season, Sane then scored twice over the two Bundesliga games in August – both in the 4-0 win at Werder Bremen. Let’s home he continues like this through the coming months.
