FC Bayern are slowly turning their focus to the final stretch of this year. While most of the first-team squad is away with their national teams, four players were involved on Monday as preparations began for Friday’s Bundesliga game away at Köln. After completing individual sessions in recent days, Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Bouna Sarr joined a number of players from the reserves for an afternoon training session under the supervision of head coach Thomas Tuchel at Säbener Straße.
As he’d done in the morning, Jamal Musiala continued to work alone as he recovers from a muscular injury. The remaining players are expected to return from international duty during the week. Friday’s game in Cologne kicks off at 20:30 CET before the final Champions League home fixture of 2023 against Copenhagen on Wednesday, 29 November.
