England draw 1-1 in North Macedonia
Having already secured first place in Group C, England travelled to North Macedonia in their final match in qualifying for EURO 2024. Kane started on the bench in Skopje and his side fell behind to an Enis Bardhi goal in the 41st minute. The Bayern striker then came on in the 58th minute, and just a minute later the Three Lions equalised thanks to an own goal from Jani Atanasov. With 20 points from eight games, England finished the campaign comfortably top of the group.
Tel loses to South Korea with France U21
The French U21 team, featuring Bayern forward Tel, were beaten 3-0 in a friendly against their South Korean counterparts in Le Havre on Monday. Tel was included in the starting line-up and was subbed off in the 62nd minute with the score at 0-0.
Germany U20 lose to England
The German U20 side lost 3-2 in a hard-fought contest against England's U20s on Monday. Pavlović played the full 90 minutes but teammate Frans Krätzig was not involved. The Germans took the lead twice through FCB loanee Paul Wanner (8th minute) and an own goal from Martial Godo (55'), but England replied both times through Mateo Joseph (29') and Samuel Edozie (59'). The Brits then grabbed the winning goal in the closing stages through Charlie Webster.
