Six days after pulling up with a left hamstring injury in Bayern’s Bundesliga game at home to Union Berlin, Dayot Upamecano began running training again on Tuesday afternoon. The 25-year-old defender started by doing laps of the training ground at Säbener Straße.
Alongside Upamecano, Bayern are currently also still without Konrad Laimer (calf), Joshua Kimmich (shoulder), Kingsley Coman (MCL), Serge Gnabry (muscular), Bouna Sarr (ACL), Daniel Peretz (knee) and Tarek Buchmann (muscular), while Minjae Kim and Noussair Mazraoui are still competing at the Asian Cup and Africa Cup of Nations respectively.
