FC Bayern has brought out a special collection in memory of its late club legend Franz Beckenbauer. In addition, the jerseys and training kits worn by the team in the Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim as well as the warm-up jackets used by the FC Bayern Legends at the Matthäi Cup will be auctioned off. All proceeds from the sales and the auctions associated with Franz Beckenbauer will go to his foundation. The Franz Beckenbauer Foundation has been supporting people with disabilities and people who are in need through no fault of their own for 40 years.
The fan merchandise with the words ‘Danke Franz’ and the shirt number 5 are available in the run-up to the big memorial service at the Allianz Arena on Friday, 19 January (free admission passes HERE) until 31 January, or while stocks last, in the club’s stores and online store. In addition to a jumper, T-shirt, scarves, a mug and pictures, the special collection includes a special photo print that can be added to the current FC Bayern home jerseys for a short time. All fans who pay by card in the stores or kiosks also have the opportunity to donate directly to the Franz Beckenbauer Foundation via the tool from official payment solutions partner Adyen – called Adyen Giving.

In the coming weeks, FC Bayern’s auction platform will also be accepting bids for the original match-worn items from the game against Hoffenheim as well as the warm-up jackets and pre-match shirts designed in memory of the Kaiser. Just like the Legends team's warm-up jackets, these will gradually be made available to bid for online.
Several national and international guests have confirmed their attendance at Franz Beckenbauer's funeral:
