The first Monday of the international break may have meant there was no training scheduled for Bayern, but it didn’t stop Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Noussair Mazraoui from taking to the pitch at Säbener Straße for an extra session under the eyes of fitness coach Holger Broich. The four players used the morning for an intense individual workout with plenty of sprinting.
Head coach Thomas Tuchel had given the team two days off following Saturday’s 5-2 win away at Darmstadt. Three sessions are scheduled this week for those players remaining in Munich during the international break. Bayern’s next competitive fixture is at home to Borussia Dortmund on 30 March.
