Guerreiro maintains his record
Raphaël Guerreiro's unstoppable shot, which hit the top corner of Köln's goal after 65 minutes to make it 1-0, was clocked at 113 km/h. It was the third goal of the season for the Portugual international. Guerreiro has scored all of them at the Allianz Arena, and all against 1. FC teams following goals against Heidenheim and Union Berlin. Furthermore, Guerreiro's goals all contributed to Bayern wins. However, the 30-year-old not only deserved praise for his important goal. When Guerreiro was subbed off 15 minutes later, he had covered the most distance of all featured players (11.2 kilometres).
Müller goes ahead of Neuer
Thomas Müller decided the game in Bayern's favour when he made it 2-0 in added time. It was also a third goal of the season for the forward, and he too has scored them all at the Allianz Arena (previously vs. Darmstadt and Mainz). Additionally, the iconic Bavarian brought up his 336th victory in his 469th Bundesliga game. Müller is now top of the league's all-time standings for most wins, having overtaken Manuel Neuer who was forced to sit out as a precautionary measure.
Köln run extended
Bayern are now unbeaten in their last 20 Bundesliga fixtures against Köln (18 wins, two draws), which is currently FCB's longest streak against a team competing in the top flight this season.
Kimmich turns up the heat
Joshua Kimmich set up Guerreiro's opener to record his third assist in the last five Bundesliga games. Kimmich has now only registered more goal involvements in the Bundesliga against Schalke (nine) than against Köln (eight).
