New signing Hiroki Ito is set to be out of action for FC Bayern for several weeks. The defender sustained a metatarsal fracture during Sunday's friendly at 1. FC Düren (1-1). This was confirmed by a scan carried out by the FC Bayern medical team immediately after the match.
Board member for sport Max Eberl: "It's obviously a very bitter blow. We'll give Hiroki the best support so that he's back fully fit on the pitch as soon as possible."
