Kane and England celebrate reaching the final of EURO 2024

The England national team led by FC Bayern striker Harry Kane are in the final of the European Championship! On Wednesday evening, the Three Lions beat the Netherlands 2-1 (1-1) in Dortmund. Kane, captaining the team as usual, scored the equalizer to make it 1-1 (18th minute) with a penalty and played until the 81st minute. Bayern defender Matthijs de Ligt spent the game on the Dutch bench. England now face Spain in the EURO 2024 final in Berlin on Sunday.

"Overall, we deserved the win and we're delighted. Every single player fought hard. It's been a difficult tournament so far, it means an incredible amount to us," said Kane after the match, with his sights already set on the upcoming final: "The final won't be easy, of course. But it's a game to make history and that's what we want to do. It's been a tough road to get here, but we're determined and will give it everything we've got."
