Welcome back, guys! With four days to go before the official start of pre-season training at FC Bayern, more players have started preparing for the coming campaign. Under the guidance of new assistant coach René Marić, Eric Dier, Bryan Zaragoza, Arijon Ibrahimović and Gabriel Vidović completed their first post-summer break training session at Säbener Straße on Thursday afternoon.

Earlier, Sven Ulreich had already resumed training in an individual session with goalkeeping coach Michael Rechner. Raphaël Guerreiro and Sacha Boey, who also worked out on Thursday, as well as Serge Gnabry and Tarek Buchmann had already returned from their holidays early in recent weeks in order to get fit for the new season.
On Monday, the early starters will be joined by the other players who didn't see any action with their national teams. Bayern's pre-season preparations under new head coach Vincent Kompany will then start in earnest with the obligatory medical tests.
