Children in the FC Bayern Museum at the first Fan Club Kids Day

Over 50 children visit FC Bayern

The first Fan Club Kids Day organised by FC Bayern as part of the new youth representative role in fan clubs introduced last year was a complete success. Over 50 children aged between six and 13 were drawn from 17 different fan clubs from Germany and Austria to experience this special first at the Allianz Arena, which included a rally through the FC Bayern Museum, a chance to try out sitting in head coach Vincent Kompany's seat and autographs from mascot Berni. The conclusion after the event, which was organised by the club’s fan and fan club support team together with the FC Bayern Museum, was that more events like this should be planned and, given the enormously positive response, it will definitely not be the only edition of this event.

The Fan Club Kids Day is the result of a survey of FC Bayern's youth representatives this spring. The girls and boys enjoyed a six-hour programme, starting the day with a film about the history of the Reds. After the rally, Berni came over for lunch as a surprise guest, after which a tifo was created together in the stands of the Allianz Arena, before a small pitch tournament formed the sporting highlight. To say goodbye, all the kids received autographs from Berni, key rings of the FCB mascot and a certificate as proof of the great things they had experienced at the inaugural FC Bayern Fan Club Kids Day.
