South Korea first-hand with Mathys Tel! The 19-year-old striker gives us a daily account of his experiences on the Audi Summer Tour 2024 on our website fcbayern.com and in the FC Bayern app. In his diary, Tel takes you behind the scenes in Seoul.
Hello everyone,
I hope you're all good. Today is our last day in South Korea, it's once again very warm, so we want to take the opportunity, first and foremost, to recover from yesterday's game. We had some treatment and did a bit of gentle cycling – for muscle awakening, remember ;)
When the active recovery was over around 12:30, it was time to eat. Guess what there was? That's right: pasta with bolognese and avocados. Yes, I like pasta a lot, haha :-) After lunch, I had a marketing session with Eric and Jamal, which you can see here.
We had to write, or rather draw "thank you" in Korean, because these letters are not only fascinating and beautiful, they are also really difficult to draw. The Koreans were very professional and very nice! The shoot went really well, I hope you like it?
Then I went back home, or rather back to the hotel. We're going back home, to Munich, this evening by plane. I took a nap and then we had the last appointment of the day: the Audi Summer Tour Get-Together. The location was breathtaking. It was on the top floor of a hotel, from where you had an impressive view over the whole of Seoul. It made me realise how important this trip was for the club – and for you fans.
I don't know what it's like for you, but for me it's been a very valuable experience being here.
A big thanks to all of you and see you soon!
Yours, Mathys
