The international break doesn’t mean there’s no action at Säbener Straße. Vincent Kompany may have given his squad a few days off as the majority of players went to join their national teams, but three players put in extra sessions on Monday as they continued working on a return to fitness.

Sacha Boey and Aleksandar Pavlović both did individual sessions with the ball in the morning, while Josip Stanišić did laps around the training ground. All three have been sidelined of late with injury but are edging closer to returning to the fold.
