Goal machine against second-worst attack

FCB have the best attack in the current Bundesliga campaign with 74 goals, Union the second-worst with 22 goals after FC St. Pauli (19). In fact, the Berliners have scored the fewest goals from open play in the league (12), with Bayern scoring over four times as many (55).

Set-piece specialists face off

Bayern and Union Berlin have each conceded just five goals from set pieces this season, fewer than all other teams. At the other end, Bayern have found the net from 19 dead-ball situations – only Wolfsburg have registered more set-piece goals (20).

Müller's good memories of Alte Försterei

Away from home, Müller's best minutes per goal involvement ratio has come at Union Berlin (64). In the last outing at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei in April 2024, he scored his last Bundesliga brace, while in the 5-2 victory in October 2021, he was directly involved in four goals (one goal, three assists).

Guerreiro set for milestone

Guerreiro is on the verge of making his 200th Bundesliga appearance. The Portuguese scored the second brace of his career in the German top flight in the loss to Bochum last weekend. He's previously managed seven direct goal contributions against Union Berlin (four goals, three assists) - he's only been involved in more goals against FC Schalke 04 (eight).
