Credit where credit’s due! The two Munich natives Aleksandar Pavlović and Josip Stanišić were obviously enjoying the moment as they led the way with big grins on their faces. Because ahead of Thursday's training session, the entire FC Bayern staff gathered in front of the performance centre on Säbener Straße to congratulate the team on winning their 34th league title.
Head coach Vincent Kompany, who is enjoying his first German league title win, expressed his gratitude to the staff with a loud "Thank you" before Leroy Sané and Jamal Musiala, who provided the appropriate background music with a large speaker, brought the procession to a close. Musiala got back to running circuits around the training pitch on Thursday following his muscle strain.

The team then continued their preparations for Saturday's final home game of the season against Borussia Mönchengladbach (18:30 CEST). The match will be a special one for Thomas Müller in particular, as it will mark his last appearance for FC Bayern at the Allianz Arena. The anticipation for this unique game was already evident on his face as he walked through the guard of honour and thanked his long-time colleagues with a broad grin.
