FC Bayern loan Tarek Buchmann to Nürnberg

FC Bayern have extended Tarek Buchmann’s contract and sent the centre-back out on a season-long loan to Bundesliga 2 club 1. FC Nürnberg. The 20-year-old German youth international has been at the German record champions since 2019.

FC Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund: "Tarek has everything required to establish himself in the professional game. Unfortunately, he's had some bad luck with injuries over the past two years, so we're all the more delighted that he made his comeback in the first few games of the Regionalliga season. He now has the opportunity to gain valuable match practice at 1. FC Nürnberg in the second tier. Tarek is a terrific character who won't let himself be thrown off track and should now take his next steps. FC Bayern will monitor him closely."

After joining the German record champions' U16s from FC Augsburg's youth set-up in the summer of 2019, Buchmann progressed through all of the youth teams and made the step up to senior level. He also made his debut for the Germany U18s in March 2023 and currently has a total of 13 caps at youth level.

João Palinha has also gone out on loan:
