Almost two weeks after tearing a muscle fibre in his thigh in the match against Eintracht Frankfurt, Alphonso Davies has taken an important step towards making his comeback. The full-back was able to complete large parts of Thursday afternoon's final training session with his teammates ahead of the Bundesliga match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. However, Davies will still not be available for Friday evening: "Phonzy's out," confirmed head coach Vincent Kompany shortly beforehand in his press conference.
