It’s that time again for Bayern fans: get your diaries out and pencil in the dates! On Thursday, the Bundesliga e.V. announced the provisional fixtures and match-ups for the 34 matchdays of the coming season in Germany’s top flight. Ticket requests for all matches involving the record German champions can be submitted via our ticket request shop. Tickets will be allocated by lottery – no later than four to six weeks before the respective match.
First away game at Schalke
Just over a week after the already announced opener against VfB Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena (Friday, 28 August at 20:30 CEST), Vincent Kompany’s side will play their first away match of the season at Bundesliga returnees FC Schalke 04 (4-6 September 2026). Following another away fixture – a Bundesliga first at newly promoted SV Elversberg (11-13 September) – FCB will host 1. FC Union Berlin in Munich over the weekend of 18–20 September to mark the start of the Oktoberfest, before the league takes its first break for the newly introduced, just under three-week long international break.

The first Klassiker of the season against runners-up Borussia Dortmund will take place on Matchday 8 (30 October–1 November), initially in Munich. The Reds will also have a reunion with newly promoted SC Paderborn 07 in early December on Matchday 12 (4–6 December). FCB will play their final match of 2026 on Matchday 14 at home against SV Werder Bremen (18–20 December), before resuming immediately after the winter break with a midweek fixture: The Munich side will first travel to Borussia Mönchengladbach (8–10 January 2027), before hosting Bayer 04 Leverkusen in a midweek clash (12–14 January). The defending champions will play their final game of the first half of the season at Eintracht Frankfurt (15–17 January), before the second half of the season begins a week later with an away game at VfB Stuttgart (22–24 January).
Season finale at home to Frankfurt
Following their final away match at Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Matchday 33 (14–16 May), Bayern’s season finale will take place on Saturday, 22 May 2027, at their home ground against Eintracht Frankfurt. The games on Matchday 34 will, as usual, kick off simultaneously at 15:30 CEST on Saturday. The exact kick-off times for the remaining matchdays will only be finalised as the season progresses and will depend primarily on the European competition fixtures. The Bundesliga will announce the exact kick-off times for the first matches in the coming weeks.
